Five months old

Will is doing a lot of cool stuff this month. He's rolling both ways. He's sitting unassisted for a number of seconds. He's trying to figure out how to scoot toward things but is mostly getting no where. He definitely can't be left on beds unattended. He's gotten up into the crawl position a few times. He giggles a bunch. He is starting to tolerate the car (and has stopped torturing us with his incessant screaming in his car seat).

At his last pediatric visit on September 17th, Will was 17lbs 14oz (84th percentile). He's 26.75 inches long (93rd percentile). We've started giving him little bits of food. Not a large amount, just tastes of our food, some cheerios and baby crackers, and some mashed fruit. This kid loves to eat.

Miles is enjoying school. He's made a bunch of friends and seems to enjoy the activities in class. His favorite part is art. He comes home with fun songs and dances. He also has picked up a few phrases that we hadn't heard before school started. He's having some difficulty listening in school so we moved his bedtime up so that he's going to be a 1/2 hour earlier. Our hope is that he sleeps longer and then can maintain a better attitude in school. We'll see.
